Stone, Second-in-Command of Forest Pack, is the one Killer always calls upon whenever he needs a strong helper. Stone was chosen to be Second-in-Command because of his strength and train of mind; he could push through a problem with his brute strength but normally chooses to talk.
He’s never been a secretive dog, but every dog holds secrets, right? His secrets aren’t big, but they could get him booted from being Second-in-Command.

The biggest is where his allegiance lies… Sure, he loves his pack and all, but Mountain Pack has always been about strength and power, while Forest Pack is more talk than fight…
To confess even more… Stone has never seen a spirit dog in his life. Not even in his dreams. Maybe it’s because he’s never believed in dogs living among the stars. Sounds sort of far-fetched, right? (Dog joke!) Think about it: dogs just floating around in the stars, speaking to us in our dreams and leaving omens? Doesn’t sound real.

Strolling out of his burrow and into the Glade, his pack’s home, he stood on a pointed rock near the centre of the clearing where he typically called meetings and looked down to see Stone organizing the hunters.
Stone was the next strongest dog after Killer and helped to lead when Killer was away. He had plenty of strength in his huge grey-and-black paws, but there was an intelligent brain between his ears, too. Food was going missing in the forest, and rumour had it that it was the work of the dogs of the mountain. Their hunters would need to be ready to deal with members of the rival pack—fights did still break out fairly commonly—and Stone was just the dog to prepare them for it.
