Wave, learning to be a Healer, is still a puppy, so she’s continually learning new things. She hasn’t had a spirit dog talk to her yet, but she’s super excited for when it happens! She’s excited about most things—food, learning new things, and playing with her siblings.
She has always been interested in healing. She knows it’s a big responsibility, but Wave is ready! She’s learning everything she can, even though Yellow can be a grump sometimes!

Learning to heal
Wave has two other siblings, Grass and Night. They want to become full dogs and maybe leaders one day, but Wave keeps telling them that being a full dog is more than enough. Together, they’re very ambitious, which makes Wave scared about what they’ll be like when they grow up…

As River opened her mouth to reply, Yellow walked into the cave carrying soft leaves and moss, Wave following behind to learn from what Yellow was doing. She set the mouthful down beside Killer and nosed it under his head.
“What are you doing?” Killer asked, keeping his head still.
“Your head needs to be elevated and have a soft place to rest.”
Killer felt an improvement as he adjusted his head on the moss pillow. He let out a sigh of relief. “Thanks, Yellow.”
“You’re welcome.”
Yellow and Wave kept checking to make sure Killer was comfortable for the rest of the day. Killer’s condition was improving, but it still hurt to move his head.
